Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Relocate Atlas collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to a minimum.

1. Who we are

Relocate Atlas is a digital publisher of educational ebooks, operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME - owner to fill]. For the personal data we handle directly, the data controller is [DATA CONTROLLER NAME AND ADDRESS - owner to fill]. 2. What we collect

Your email address, when you request the free Scholarship Starter or make a purchase. This is used to deliver the product and to send it to you.
Order and billing data (such as name, billing country, and payment details), which is collected and processed by DodoPayments as our merchant of record and payment processor. We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers. We may receive limited order confirmation data (such as the associated email, product purchased, country, and order reference) to fulfill and support your order.
Basic, aggregate site usage, gathered through privacy-friendly analytics (see Section 4). This does not identify you personally.
Support messages, when you email us, including the content of your message and your email address.

3. How we use your data

To deliver the products you request or buy, and to send you the download or file by email.
To provide customer support, process refunds, and respond to your questions.
To send occasional related emails (such as product updates or relevant new resources). These are opt-in, and every message includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, largely handled by our merchant of record.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to measure aggregate traffic. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not track you across other sites. We do not run advertising trackers. If we ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first.

5. Email marketing

Marketing and update emails are opt-in. You choose to receive them, for example by requesting the free Scholarship Starter or opting in at checkout. You can unsubscribe at any time using the one-click link in any email, or by contacting us. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails but we may still send essential messages about a purchase you made (such as your download link or a refund confirmation).

6. Third parties we share data with

We share the minimum data needed with service providers who help us operate:

DodoPayments: our merchant of record and payment processor. It processes your purchase, billing, and applicable taxes under its own privacy policy.
Our email service provider, [EMAIL SERVICE PROVIDER - owner to fill]: used to deliver products and send opt-in emails.
Cloudflare: hosting, content delivery, and the cookieless web analytics described above.

These providers act on our behalf and are expected to protect your data. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

7. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than your own, including outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) offered by these providers to protect your data during transfer.

8. Data retention

We keep your email and order records for as long as needed to deliver the product, provide support and updates, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Payment and tax records are retained by our merchant of record for the period their obligations require. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see Section 9).

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data. Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, these include the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability. Under the CCPA and similar US laws, you have the right to know what we collect and to opt out of the "sale" of personal data. As noted above, we do not sell personal data.

To exercise any right, email support@relocateatlas.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. For payment and billing records held by our merchant of record, we can help direct your request to DodoPayments. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

10. Children

Our site and products are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
